    The man, who is in his 30s, is suspected of a total of ten different sex crimes against children – including several rapes against children.

    According to Aftonbladet’s information, several of the crimes must have been committed against students, both at and outside the school that the man previously worked at.

    The crimes he is suspected of were committed both last year and this year.

    During the same period, the man worked as a teacher at a school in the Stockholm area, according to Aftonbladet’s information.

    Other sex crimes against children for which he is suspected have been committed at a residential address in the Stockholm area, according to the arrest warrant.

    Arrested in his absence – arrested

    The school principal is aware of the suspicions against the man.

    “According to the information we have received, there has been no incident at the school. The person is also no longer employed at the school,” writes the principal in an email to Aftonbladet.

    “When information like this comes to our attention, we always immediately contact the relevant authorities,” the rector also writes.

    The man was arrested in his absence last week. He was arrested later that day.

    During the weekend, he was requested to be detained on suspicion of several rapes against children, but also for sexual molestation of children and exploitation of children for sexual posing, according to the arrest petition.
