After seeing what Insomniac Games has done with Spider-Man 2, Marvel’s Wolverine will be an important game in the PS5 library. However, very little is known about the Wolverine game, and we can only glimpse the first teaser trailer so many times. Instead of a new trailer, it’s possible that the Wolverine release window will be shorter than expected if this artist’s portfolio is to be believed.
Marvel’s Wolverine Release Date May Be Earlier Than Expected
The release date for Marvel’s Wolverine has yet to be officially announced by Insomniac Games, but according to concept artist Hung Nguy, Wolverine could be one of many new PS5 games releasing next year. When we examine Nguy’s ArtStation profile, we can see that Wolverine has just been added to the productions in which the artist is involved. In the production section, it is stated that Wolverine is a 2024 product, which suggests that it could be released in the coming months.
Since Spider-Man 2’s potential DLC cycle hasn’t started yet, we predict Wolverine will be among the top PS5 games in 2025. Rumors surrounding Spider-Man 2 DLC indicate that Daredevil or the Fantastic Four will join the Spider-Man 2 character roster, but Insomniac Games has been reluctant to make a statement on the matter.
On the other hand, progress in the development of Wolverine remains silent, although the developer has hinted that motion capture work on the game will begin in April 2022. Considering that Spider-Man 2 will arrive exactly 5 years after the first game, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to think that Wolverine’s release date will be announced soon.

No major action scenes are depicted, but if rumors are to be believed, Insomniac Games may deliver similar gore to the underrated X-Men Origins Wolverine game.
