Israel, which continues its attacks against the Gaza Strip, also changed the ‘Anti-Terror Law’. In the vote held in the Israeli Parliament, the law allowing non-Israelis to be declared “terrorists” was approved.
In Israel, the Minister of Defense could previously declare non-Israelis as terrorists only after they had been “identified as terrorists by a qualified international organization.” The law also expanded the definition of “terrorist operator” to include “financiers of a terrorist organization who are not official members.”
