According to NT, Reidar Svedahl sent messages with sexual allusions in a chat on Friday. The recipient was a young woman who is active in the Christian Democrats.
Eva-Britt Sjöberg, group leader of the Christian Democrats, says to NT that “This is very serious, very inappropriate and completely unacceptable”.
Reidar Svedahl, municipal councilor in Norrköping, is now taking time out while an investigation is to be made into his future.
– It has been a turbulent time for the Norrköping Liberals and me personally. I have announced today that I am taking a timeout and stepping aside, pending the internal investigation that the Liberals’ ethics committee has started. I feel safe with the process that has begun, which is now allowed to take its course.
