The Killer is a beautiful Bronson film when written by Sartre and filmed by Melville with the vividness of a Siegel. I love, love, love when Fincher resonates with a straight-up genre beat. Nimble and clockwork precise and fun. The most entertaining film I’ve seen in a long time. It’s great when you can watch a serious film and a work of entertainment at the same time. That’s what the plot of Fincher’s new Netflix thriller is about

In the story of The Killer, Michael Fassbender plays one perfectionist assassin, who completes his missions with stoic precision. In Paris he makes a mistake on an assignment that makes him a hunted man. When his private life comes into danger, he launches an attack against his superiors.

The Killer is now streaming with a Netflix subscription.
