The shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 had its big release on November 10, 2023. After the campaign was already playable in advance, the zombie and multiplayer modes also went online. What does the community say after the game’s full release?
Before the shooter’s big release, players were already able to form an opinion about the CoD MW3 campaign.
However, many in the community were just disappointed. The reasons for this were, among other things, a poor plot and the short running time of the campaign.
The full game has been available since November 10, 2023. But what is the mood now after the big release?
Here you can see a trailer that presented the first level of CoD MW3:
The community is still disappointed
Even after the zombie and multiplayer modes were added to the game, the mood in the community is mostly negative.
On Steam, for example, CoD MW3 still performs largely negatively with 2,085 reviews, of which just 31% are positive (as of November 11, 2023)
In the comments on Steam, the campaign remains the main point of criticism from players. CoD MW3 is simply too expensive, while the new game content feels more like DLC instead of its own game.

Overall, the multiplayer seems to perform better than the campaign. However, it is not enough for players to see the price as justified and the mood around the new CoD MW 3 is still rather negative – even after the full release.
