The reforms carried out under his leadership have turned Turkey into a modern nation. He deeply influenced the lives of the people with the innovations he made in many fields, from education to art, from law to science, and laid the foundations of a modern social structure.
We Commemorate Our Ancestor With Respect and Longing
On the 85th anniversary of Atatürk’s death, it is our duty to keep his ideas and ideals alive. The Republic of Turkey, which Atatürk called “my greatest work”, continues to walk towards a bright future with his principles and reforms. On this sad day, we remember once again our commitment to the contemporary, secular and democratic values that our Ancestor targeted, and we reiterate our responsibility to pass them on to future generations. We remember Atatürk with respect, gratitude and longing.
