Since 2015 is Soraya Lavasani part of the popular gang that leads TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon every morning.
Being a presenter on television means a lot of attention from the viewers, but unfortunately not always only pleasant. In August 2021, Soraya Lavasani received a handwritten letter sent home.
With a blue ballpoint pen, someone had written:
“Show respect. Dress for your size. We don’t want to see your soooo big butt and thighs (many find it unpleasant).”

But instead of being sad and hiding the letter, Soraya Lavasani chose to post a picture of the note on Instagram, along with a butt cake she got from her friends.
The post went viral, and the host was met with love from his followers.
“Laugh or Cry”
More than two years later, Soraya Lavasani says this in The evening paperabout what she herself calls the “ass letter”:
– I felt that I wanted to share it as it was so sick that someone had taken the time to write a letter dedicated to my ass. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but mostly I just laughed.
