What kind of game is this? KarmaZoo is the name of the new game from developer Pastagames under publisher Devolver Digital. It will be released on Steam on November 14th, 2023 and will cost you less than €10 at full price. Until November 28th, 2023 you can get KarmaZoo even 25% cheaper.
KarmaZoo is a cooperative online platformer in which you try to complete the levels with up to 10 random players.

This is what you can expect: As you can see in the trailer, KarmaZoo is a pixelated and pretty busy platformer that presents you with some interesting puzzles.
You have to solve these puzzles together. And here the trailer already tells you the twist of the game. Because in KarmaZoo your good deeds are rewarded and often ensure that you as a group master the level.
In the trailer you can see an example of this: a player who sacrifices himself and jumps on sharp spikes. At this point a small gravestone is created, which all players can then use as an additional platform to cross the sharp spikes.
Such good deeds do not go unrewarded in KarmaZoo. Not only do you advance in the level, but you also collect karma points, which you can use for new characters and skills.
The developers promise a total of 50 playable characters, which come in any shape, as shown in the trailer. From a brave wolf, to a little owl or a cheerful anchor, you can experience lots of characters.
