The winner of Barnradion’s book prize is chosen by children, and this year sixth graders from Ekland School in Mölndal have made up the jury.
“It is a book about freedom, dictatorship, friendship and family. The book contains very strong emotions such as jealousy, worry and frustration. The emotions are described in a way that makes it easy to identify,” reads part of the justification.
Barnradion’s book award is instituted by Swedish Radio and UR (Educational Radio).
