Breaking news: Israeli far-right Minister Amihai Eliyahu said that dropping a nuclear bomb on the blockaded Gaza Strip is one of the possibilities. Describing the people living in Gaza as “monsters”, Eliyahu said that they should find the solution themselves.
“HUMANITARIAN AID SHOULD NOT ENTER IN ANY WAY”
Eliyahu made scandalous remarks towards Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in a radio program he attended.
Eliyahu, who is in the coalition government from the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party, which stands out with its hostility towards Palestine and far-right views, argued that no humanitarian aid should be allowed to enter Gaza.
“PALESTINIANS IN GAZA CAN GO TO IRELAND OR THE DESERT”
Eliyahu wanted Gaza to be reoccupied and illegal Jewish settlements to be built in the region.
When asked what will happen to the Palestinians living in Gaza, Eliyahu said, “They can go to Ireland or the deserts, the ‘monsters’ in Gaza must find a solution themselves.” he replied.
SHOCKING NUCLEAR BOMB WORDS!
Answering the presenter’s question “Whether there is a need to drop an atomic bomb on Gaza”, Eliyahu said, “This (dropping a nuclear bomb on Gaza) is one of the possibilities.” he said.
Following this statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suspended Eliyahu from cabinet meetings indefinitely.
Former Prime Minister Yair Lapid called on Netanyahu to dismiss Eliyahu.
STEP BACK AT JET SPEED
Following the reactions to his scandalous remarks about the Gaza Strip, far-right Eliyahu took a step back.
In his post on social media platform X, Eliyahu argued that his statement about the atomic bomb was “metaphorical”.
