For non-urgent health care, residents can call Health Connect Ontario at 811, which is available 24-7 for nonemergency health-related questions. Patients with family doctors can also inquire about any same-day appointments or after-hours clinics.
The closest 24-hour emergency departments at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital are:
- The Stratford General Hospital;
- The South Huron Hospital Exeter;
- Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll; gold
- University Hospital or Victoria Hospital in London.
The healthcare alliance suggests area residents check with the emergency departments listed before attending to ensure they are operating with regular hours.
