24-year-old Pettersson has had a flying start to the NHL season. Against San Jose, the Ånge IK product accounted for three assists in the big victory. In the end, the result was a whopping 10–1 to Vancouver.

San Jose’s goal was scored by Swede Fabian Zetterlund.
Vancouver is second in the Pacific Division, behind reigning Stanley Cup champions Vegas.

Pettersson’s three points mean that he is now second in the NHL’s scoring league with 19 points, one behind New Jersey’s Jack Hughes. Jesper Bratt, also from New Jersey, is third.
