(Finance) – Unemployment rises in Germany in October. This is noted by the Federal Labor Officeaccording to which the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 5.8%, from 5.7% in the previous month and in line with analysts’ expectations.
At the same time, there was a growth of 30 thousand units in unemployedagainst expectations for an increase of 15 thousand and after the +10 thousand recorded in September.
The overall number of unemployed (not seasonally adjusted) increases to 2.67 million from the previous 2.64 million. The seasonally adjusted one rises to 2.60 million from the previous 2.62 million.
