Head coach of the French premier league club Lyon Fabio Grosso suffered head injuries when stones were thrown at the windows of the team bus before Sunday’s French league match against Marseille.
The windows of the Lyon bus were smashed while it was on its way to the Stade Vélodrome stadium. According to AP, Grosso was injured by falling shards of glass. He needed treatment as his face was bleeding profusely.

Marseille and Lyon were supposed to play on Sunday evening, but it has been decided to postpone the match. Referee Francois Letexier said, according to AFP, at a press conference that the organizers had taken into account Lyon’s wish that the match not be played on Sunday.
