In connection with the creation of his interpretations to “So much better” broke Peg Parnevik with her partner.
Something that resulted in her needing to rethink – and change her songs completely.
– Many of my songs that I thought would be a declaration of love are now break-up songs, she says.
Now a new season of “So much better” premieres and in the autumn edition we see artists such as Lasse Holm, Eagle-Eye Cherry and Sanne Salomonsen. One of the faces that is in place throughout the period is Peg Parnevik, along with Mapei and Ellen Krauss. In connection with Peg agreeing to participate in the program and starting to plan her interpretations, she went through a breakup, something that led to her interpretations becoming different from what she first thought.
– I’ve had a specific image in my head and then life got in the way, so I’ve had to change the concept completely. I was in a relationship and now I’m not, so many of my songs that I thought would be a declaration of love are now break up songs, explains Peg.
During the first lunch of the season, Peg does her first interpretation on the theme of love, an interpretation of one of Ellen’s songs.
– It will become my future husband, the person I meet later, says Peg.
The relationship status after So much better
Peg tells us that she longs for love.
– I want to find my future husband, I want what my parents had and my sister has. The house and the children, to go gray with someone. You may not be completely healed or completely perfect. But it is clear that you are still worthy of love and I really want to show that, says Peg.
– Someone meets you where you are in life. I have baggage and crap and everything, but this person comes into your life and sees you and loves you for exactly who you are, she continues.
And now, months after filming the show, Peg has found that person. When she visited Efter five a week, Tilde de Paula Eby, who had seen the program, wondered if the love of her life was on the way.
– I think I have met my person, or I know it, answers Peg.
