Harrie Smolder, Netherlands, led the race and was also the overall winner despite finishing 27th in the race. Countryman Maikel van der Vleuten had the chance to overtake, but failed through a tear in the jump-off which gave him seventh place.
Baryard-Johnsson finished seventh overall.
