A child was hit by shards of glass during a shooting in Upplands Väsby last Friday.
– The child did not need to go to hospital, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The police were alerted to a suspicious shooting on Friday afternoon. Later in the day, a bullet was found inside a home. According to the police, the bullet had gone through a wall and hit something made of glass, the shards of which then hit the child.
– We don’t know who the bullet was intended for, says Ola Österling.
The shooting is classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences. No suspect has been arrested.
