Several organizations, including WHO and Unicef, have lost contact with their staff in Gaza.
“We have lost contact with our staff in Gaza, with health facilities, health workers and the rest of our humanitarian partners on the ground,” writes WHO director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on X, formerly Twitter.
The alarm comes after large parts of the internet went out in Gaza during Friday evening, while the mobile and telecommunications networks were knocked out.
