(Finance) – Inflation in Spain continued to remain at high levels in February. According to theSpanish statistical office INEthe consumer price index was revised upwards to + 0.8% on a monthly basis, compared to + 0.6% in the preliminary estimate and above the -0.4% of the previous month.
On an annual basis, there was a growth of 7.16%, (+ 7.4% expectations) after the + 6.1% of the previous month.
Lharmonized inflation it recorded a positive variation of 7.6% annually, above the preliminary estimate (7.5%), and higher than the + 6.2% of the previous month. On a monthly basis, the data marks a + 0.8% (expected + 0.7%) after the -0.8% in January.
