It was Niklas Säwén (S) who quickly had to take over when party colleague Bodil Hansson chose to leave all his political assignments in April this year.
It was Hansson’s connection to Peter Clemin, now convicted of bribery, that brought her down. The deputy chairman of the municipal board, Niklas Säwén, then had to step in and take over the responsibility as the most politically responsible person in the county’s largest municipality.
