Without specifying the number of people affected by this boost, the general director of the National Old Age Insurance Fund, Renaud Villard, declared during aa Senate hearing this Wednesday, October 25, that the reform had increased “by thirty euros on average” the minimum contribution received by workers who retired in September.

20,000 retirees affected by an increase of 100 euros

For people retired for several months, the text passed in 49.3 at the beginning of last spring allowed the increase “by 50 euros on average” of the minimum contribution. And this for some 500,000 people, among whom 20,000 received the maximum amount of 100 euros. Note that the average of 50 euros is slightly below the Cnav forecast, which expected an increase of 60 euros.
