Early Monday morning, Sylvia’s wife was in the parking lot on Zangvogelweg. When she got into the car, she was surprised by the mess and unfolded back seat. “She immediately saw that my make-up basket was empty. I always use it to easily transport things because I work at people’s homes a lot,” says Mercera. Cables and branded sunglasses were also taken. “Normally I put it in the storage room or in the house. The last time we had our hands full with groceries and I thought: I’ll grab that make-up bag later. Not knowing that everything would be stolen that night.”
