Last week, the heritage-marked Katarina lift opened in Stockholm – after standing still for 13 years. Now it has broken, reports Mitti.
Strong winds on Saturday must have knocked out some of the elevator’s functions.
– It is a shame that it was only in operation for a few days. But that can be the case sometimes, says Eva Rosman, communications manager at Projekt Slussen, to the newspaper.
It is unclear when the lift will be up and running again.
