In the list of items in this sale, two manuscripts of lyrics by the singer: The prayerhis duet with Andrea Bocelli released in 1999 and The Giftsong taken from the film’s soundtrack Love Again, released in 2023. For the first song, it is a sheet containing the score written by David Foster, composer of The Prayer, a piece won the Golden Globe for best original song. Estimated selling price: between 600 and 800 dollars.
The second lot linked to Céline Dion is therefore the white sheet on which the words of The Gift, from the hand of songwriter Tina Parol. The starting price is listed at $200 and the item should also go for a price between $600 and $800. In total, around fifty lots are on sale, including musical instruments or other handwritten lyrics, having belonged to artists like Garth Brooks, Hozier or Rick Springfield.
