The municipality estimates the number of demonstrators at around seven thousand. A spokesperson said the march was peaceful. Occasionally heavy fireworks were set off, but the demonstration and the parade to the Jaarbeursplein did not cause any problems. According to a reporter, there were a striking number of young people present.
