NHL Swede Anton Forsberg played great between the posts in the giants last night

Ottawa goaltender Anton Forsberg stopped 23 of 24 shots as Washington was crushed 6-1 in NHL action tonight.
– I had some good saves there, it was good to get into the match, says Forsberg after the match.

Anton Forsberg refers to Washington’s pressure in the opening period, when the Swede saved 11 shots on goal. The 30-year-old, who is back on the ice after being carried out on a stretcher just over eight months ago, has started the season strongly.

Forsberg’s accident

On February 11, the accident happened to Forsberg. In the meeting with Edmonton, he got an opponent over him and ended up in an unnatural position with his legs. The medical examination then showed internal ligament damage in both knees.

Three straight wins

After Thursday’s win against Washington, Ottawa has won three games in a row.
– I feel that we are very solid right now, says Forsberg after the match.
– Good offensively, a lot of creativity, he summarizes the team’s play.

For Pittsburgh’s Swedish back star Erik Karlsson it was a goal and two assists against Detroit. However, the Swede’s effort was not enough for a win, the match ended 6–3 to Detroit.
