Speaking on the Palestinian official television channel, Mahmoud Abbas said that he cut off his visit to Jordan and returned after the hospital attack. Refuting the Israeli narrative that the attack belonged to the Palestinians, Abbas said, “The attack on the Baptist Hospital in Gaza was committed by Israel. This is an unforgivable crime. The occupation government has crossed all red lines. We will not allow them to escape punishment and interrogation for this.” he said.
QUADRUPLE SUMMIT WAS CANCELED
Stating that he met with Egypt and Jordan following the incident, Abbas announced that he canceled the quadripartite summit in Amman, which was planned to be attended by US President Joe Biden.
Abbas continued:
“I want Israel to be held accountable and our people to be under international protection. These attacks, these crimes against our people must stop. We will not allow a second Nakba to happen in the 21 century, no matter how great the sacrifices are. We will do everything necessary to stop the bloodshed.” .”
“WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT GO”
Abbas said, “They made dozens of decisions so that our people would be under international protection, but they did not implement them. Because America did not want them to be implemented.”
Emphasizing that the Palestinian people will not be displaced once again, Abbas said, “The Palestinian people will stand tall on their homeland. We will definitely not go, we will definitely not go, we will definitely not go.”
Asking the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibility, Abbas demanded that the international organization “condemn the massacre and stop the war.”
“ISRAEL’S EXPLOSION PLAN WILL NOT PASS”
Addressing the Palestinian people, Abbas said, “Israel’s plan to expel you from your lands will not pass. Our people will not bend or surrender. All countries have stood against immigration. Appropriate decisions will be taken starting tonight. Meetings and negotiations will continue to make appropriate decisions.” he said.
Abbas called for keeping the ranks tight and not losing the compass and not getting caught up in the mischief that will be taken advantage of by the enemies of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that they are going through a dangerous phase and that they can only get out of this with unity and solidarity.

Hamas Political Bureau Head Ismail Haniyeh said in the video recording he published: “This bombardment of Israel is a massacre that proves the brutality of the enemy and the resounding defeat it has suffered against the resistance.” he said.
“The United States is responsible for Israel’s attack on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza.” Haniyeh said and continued:
“This massacre has taken its place in the series of massacres carried out by the Zionists since the occupation of Palestine. This is their characteristic. Carrying out massacres is their characteristic.”

Stating that Israel does not respect values, customs and laws, Heniyye noted that the enemy who attacked churches, mosques and hospitals in the same place and those who did not condemn him were responsible for this massacre and genocide.
Emphasizing that “the resistance will continue until the occupation ends”, Haniyeh called on the Palestinian people “to stand against the occupiers and settlers in all cities and all streets, especially in the West Bank”. (AA)
