It was also stated that Brazil’s draft resolution demanding a “humanitarian pause” in Gaza will be put to vote during the session, which will be held in an open format.

CONDEMNATION FROM GUTERRES
United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the attack on al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza and noted that hospitals and medical personnel are protected by international humanitarian law.
Guterres shared a message on his social media account about Israel’s attack on Al-Ehli Baptist Hospital.
Stating that he “regarded with horror” the hospital attack that caused the death of hundreds of Palestinians, Guterres said, “I strongly condemn this attack.” he said.
Guterres noted that his thoughts are with the families of the victims and said, “Hospitals and medical personnel are under the protection of international humanitarian law.” he emphasized.
It was reported that the number of deaths as a result of Israel’s bombing of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza increased to 500. (AA)
