The two League of Legends professionals Faker and Caps meet in a very entertaining video. Both know each other because they have dueled in the midlane several times. Now, however, they were having a conversation on the treadmill and giving each other gifts, with Faker looking a little irritated by his.
What kind of gift is this? In LoL, the Worlds started with the Play-Inns on October 10th. Since this tournament is taking place in Korea, all qualified teams will of course already be there, even if they will only play their matches at a later date.
The Korean team T1 took advantage of this to shoot a little promo video with their own legend Lee Faker Sang-hyeok and the Dane Rasmus Caps Borregaard Winther. At the beginning, both professionals stand on the treadmill and, in a rather strange situation, talk about their fitness and their stay in Korea. They have a certain chemistry with each other, which makes the video very entertaining.
At the end the two exchange small presents. Faker has a denim jacket with his name embroidered on it in his luggage. Caps, on the other hand, gives away a cactus.
You can watch the video here:
We had to go to 5 different stores to find the cactus
What’s the gift about? In the video, Faker initially seems a little confused about what this gift is all about. He is reminiscent of a child who was given socks for Christmas.
Caps explains in the video that he chose the cactus for a very special reason. Because it is called Unkillable Demon Cactus. These are the right gifts for the Unkillable Demon King.
However, it was probably quite difficult to find this cactus:
We had to go to 5 different stores because it’s a rare plant, but we wanted to give you the cactus because you are the Unkillable Demon King and this is the Unkillable Demon Cactus. Because the cactus doesn’t need a lot of water to survive.

After the explanation, Faker smiles a little more and thanks – like Caps – for the present.
Two legends in the midlane
What makes the players so special? Faker is the most famous LoL player in the world. He celebrated his debut at the World Championship in 2013 – at the age of 17 – and was able to win the title straight away with T1. He repeated this success in 2015 and 2016. In the following years, the team finished in the top 4 four more times.
You can find out more about Faker in this video:
Caps, on the other hand, is one of the best European players. He made his international debut in 2017 (18 years old) with a 5th-8th. Place with Fnatic. A year later he took second place with Fnatic and again a year later second place with G2 Esports.
Although it wasn’t enough for him to win a world championship title, it was at least enough for him to win many regional championship titles. His greatest success may have been winning the 2019 Mid-Season Inivational, where he was also declared tournament MVP.
Both have met on the big stage several times, including the semi-finals of MSI 2019, where G2 Esports won 3-2 against T1.
What do you think of the video of the two? And what do you think of the cactus as a gift? Was it a good idea or would a jersey or jacket have done the job?
There is another exciting story about Faker, which Riot Games itself processed in a video:
