The 16-year-old boy who was arrested after the double murder in Tullinge last Friday is also suspected of the murder of a father of a small child in Västberga a day earlier.
He is now wanted in custody for three murders, the Prosecutor’s Office states in a press release.
In Tullinge, several shots were fired in a villa and two women died during the night to Friday. At the same time, there were children in the villa. A 16-year-old boy was arrested the same night by the police when he was in a taxi. At the stop, the 16-year-old tried to run from the scene but was arrested. In the car, the police found an automatic weapon and a magazine was found on the 16-year-old.
During the day, the Public Prosecutor’s Office announces that the boy is requested to be detained for the double murder, as well as aggravated weapons offences.
The day before, a father of a small child was shot to death in his home in Västberga. His wife and a child were also injured in the shooting. The 16-year-old boy is now also wanted in custody for that murder, as well as aggravated weapons offences.
“The man is also requested to be detained for murder and two attempted murders, as well as for aggravated weapons offense after a shooting in a residential area in Västberga on the night of Thursday, October 12,” writes the Prosecutor’s Office in a press release.
According to the prosecutor, he will be requested to be detained on probable cause, which is the higher degree of suspicion, for both incidents.
– One person will be requested to be detained on suspicion of murder in both cases, Tullinge and Västberga, says prosecutor Mats Ihlbom, who leads the preliminary investigation into the murder in Västberga.
According to the prosecutor, it will also involve several other criminal classifications. At the moment, the prosecutor does not want to comment on whether more people have been detained in the case.
