It was in a post on Instagram earlier this week that Swedish world star Zara Larsson, 25, commented on the war between Hamas and Israel.
“Oh, so it’s ‘Stand up for Ukraine’ when Russia attacks but not Palesti-,” she wrote.
The statement was extremely criticized and now the artist is apologizing.
“Let me be clear, I have never and never will support terrorists. It was a bad choice of words and thoughtless to post it and for that I apologize,” writes Zara Larsson on Instagram.
Furthermore, she writes that she supports the innocent civilians who “deserve freedom and security”.
“History has always shown where I stand,” she writes.
