(Finance) – The traveling program is back on airNear Italy traveling with Radic”, discovering the Peninsula, for the third season, on Gambero Rosso ChannelSky channels 133 and 415. Produced in partnership with Trenitalia (lead company of the Passenger Hub of the FS Group), the broadcast is hosted and written by the journalist Andrew Radic, which travels the country by train telling its history, culture, typical products, gastronomic and oenological excellences and curiosities. A twenty-stage journey through taste, landscapes and beauty. “Close” because you can reach it by train. In fact, the train will take us to the most evocative places in our country, thanks to the speed of the high-speed train, the capillarity of the regional system and the Intercity services.
Everything is fine stage it is a discovery, an emotion to experience and to reach on board the Trenitalia carriages. From the Dolomite peaks, to the Apulian beaches, from the history of Umbria to the charm of the Marche. And then Calabria, Sicily, Basilicata with Matera, Capital of Culture, the Amalfi Coast and Western Liguria.
In each of the places in which “Italia Vicina traveling with Radic” brings i viewersthe host meets and interviews the women and men who are protagonists of the excellence and culture of the area, intense stories that place at the center of the story the passion and the will to bear witness to one’s own culture and values, as true spokesman of the territory.
From the productive culture of a winery, to the cultural one of a museumto the social one of a project valorisation localto the religious one of a monastery.
In his train travel, Radic will live experiences linked to different transport realities, from the Frecciarossa, to trains regional of the latest generation, from the charm of the Intercity Notte sleeper cars, to the intermodality of the Freccia Links to reach your destination.
This evening at 8.30pm the episode will be dedicated to Ascoli Piceno, a city of great historical, cultural and gastronomic charm. From the traditional and gourmet cuisine of chef Roberto Di Sante of the “Locanda Imperfetta” to Anisetta, the city’s typical liqueur, to be tasted at the historic Meletti café. A visit to the Papal Paper Mill Museums illustrated by Laura Ciotti and Isabella Bosano.
There will be a walk with the mayor Marco Fioravanti. The highlight of the episode will be the re-enactment of the historical procession of the “Quintana carousel” which will take viewers back in time to the Ascoli Piceno of the Middle Ages. A great artistic and musical surprise will be the presence of Saturnino Celani, the famous musician, who will give away his talent to viewers with a great little creation dedicated to the broadcast.
