The police were called to Navestad at 19.30 on Friday evening after reports of loud explosions. The incident took place in an area with apartment buildings.
Several patrols are to be on site and a suspected crime scene is cordoned off. So far, there is damage to property that indicates that a shooting may have taken place, the police write on their website.
– We have opened a preliminary investigation regarding attempted murder and serious weapons offences. We have information that the shot entered an apartment, through someone’s window, says Johnny Gustavsson, police spokesperson.
There is currently no information that anyone has been injured. The police with forensics are on site to secure clues and carry out door knocking.
