The woman is charged, in addition to the attempted murder, for one case of assault on a nine-year-old girl and three cases of serious assault on three girls aged 12, 15 and 17. All the crimes took place from the end of May to the middle of June in central Ängelholm.
“We have put a lot of work into identifying all the assaults that took place on different occasions using the same approach. All of them took place outdoors where the girls alone faced the perpetrator who attacked them from behind. None of the crimes were preceded by a provocation or any kind of contact,” says senior prosecutor Linda Seger in a press release.
There are no suspicions that the woman will have committed more crimes with the same scheme.
