During Sunday’s party leader debate, the question was asked if the party leaders describe their leadership style.
The presenters then mention that Märta Stenevis’ leadership style has been criticized in the media.
– I am surprised that you bring this up in a party leader debate, says Magdalena Andersson (S), who comes to Stenevis’ defense.
In the second part of the party leader debate, Ulf Kristersson (M), Magdalena Andersson (S) and Märta Stenevi (MP) had to answer the following question:
“How would you describe your leadership style?”
Kristersson and Andersson were asked the question without further explanation. The Green Party’s mouthpiece, on the other hand, was asked the question together with a circulating rumor in the media.
– Märta Stenevi, staff at the Green Party’s office have complained about your leadership. So how would you describe your leadership style? asks presenter Camilla Kvartoft.
– What has appeared in the media is information that we take very seriously and our chancellor will handle it with the routines we have.
“A very caring person”
Märta Stenevi points out that, before she entered politics, she had been a manager since she was 25 years old. As a leader, she describes herself as someone who is close to her employees and that she works with clarity and determination.
– What has been the problem? asks presenter Anders Holmberg.
– The investigation will have to find out, replies the mouthpiece.
Magdalena Andersson breaks in with a determined “may I say something?”.
– I have seen Märta Stenevi work as a leader when we were in the government together. Märta is a very caring person who cares about people around her, says the S leader.
– I am a little surprised that you bring this up in a party leader debate.
Ebba Busch (KD) agrees, she says.
