In Agenda’s party leader debate, Ebba Busch and Nooshi Dadgostar were the first to fall apart.
This time it was about priorities in the government’s budget proposal.
– Ebba Busch wants to stop gang crime with a leisure card, says Nooshi Dadgostar.
Ebba Busch says that 40 percent of the state budget goes to welfare, in response to Nooshi Dadgostar’s criticism that too little money goes to teachers and the police who can prevent children from being recruited into gang crime.
– But you have to be able to make tough priorities. It is not because of a lack of leisure parks and summer jobs that people choose to rape small children, urinate on their victims, film it and then get street cred for it. It’s something else.
– What we are doing now is prioritizing a leisure card so that young people can have meaningful leisure time, but also parental support programs. You say no to that, says Ebba Busch.
“You are slaughtering the school”
The claim makes the Left Party’s party leader see red.
– So Ebba Busch wants to break gang crime with a leisure card. It won’t work.
– You are slaughtering the school, she says and holds up the latest issue of the trade journal Vi låre.
before the party leaders are interrupted because they are talking over each other, Nooshi Dadgostar manages to call the current tax cut an “absurd priority”.
