What is Wonder Woman 1984 about?
Wonder Woman 2 begins almost 65 years after Part 1. A lot of time has passed since her adventures in World War II, even if the decades have left little trace on Diana Prince (Gal Gadot). She still hasn’t forgotten her great love, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine).
The year is 1984 and the fierce Amazon works under a secret identity as an archaeologist at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. In the course of her research, she comes into contact with a strange artifact: the yellow gemstone is said to grant wishes. Correspondingly dubious characters are after the treasure: the power-hungry Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) has his eye on it.
