Pascal Engman has been named as a ghostwriter for Camilla Läckberg.
Now he puts an end to the accusations once and for all.
– No I have not. Neither for Camilla nor anyone else, says the author in Efter fem.
It was the newspaper Kvartal that, with the help of a stylometric AI tool, examined the language in the novels of detective writer Camilla Läckberg.
The paper concluded that the writing style differed in four of the author’s books compared to the other novels. When the newspaper Kvartal feeds the author Pascal Engman’s books into another AI tool, it is concluded that he is the most likely author of Camilla Läckberg’s “Women without mercy”.
Something that both Camilla Läckberg and Pascal Engman strongly denied.
– No I have not. Neither Camilla nor anyone else, says Pascal Engman in Efter fem.
Pascal Engman, on the other hand, has worked as an editor for Camilla Läckberg, something that is not unusual in the writing industry.

The quarter’s data came close to the book fair in Gothenburg, something that Pascal Engman ironically sees as “lovely timing”. However, he sympathizes most with Camilla Läckberg in this situation.
– I would have taken it quite badly if someone had claimed that someone had written my books. I have seen her write up close. There is a bit of a sense of unreality, says Pascal Engman.
The author is now current with the book Bestseller. It is the sixth book about Police Inspector Vanessa Frank.
