“Our Research Office has calculated that at least one billion is needed to be allocated to the Education sector alone – explains the president – ​​but there is also the possibility of introducing significant improvements to the school system without spending money: one of these is the return to the dual channel of recruitment, with permanent hires from GPS following the scrolling of rankings until exhaustion with no more candidates; it would also be necessary to confirm in the roles all the teachers already hired with reserve who have passed the probationary year and reinstate those dismissed; how the exemptions from the constraints could be extended on mobility for the 43 thousand newly hired teachers; finally, among the measures that do not involve expenses there is also the integration of the rankings of the last extraordinary competition with 20 thousand candidates for the roles already ready for the purpose after having been selected”.

The billion specific to the Education sector, however, is claimed by Anief pto finance and strengthen the additional staff in 2024 (for this intervention 300 million euros would be needed; then it is necessary to expand the teachers’ card of 500 euros per year also to substitute teachers with 180 days worked (250 million); it would be necessary to improve the Agenda for the SUD (further 50 million) with additional positions of teachers and ATA staff; how would it be necessary to cancel over 70 thousand places in derogation of support by bringing them into the workforce by right (another 250 million) and, finally, strengthening the guidance teachers and tutors (150 million).
