An Eskilstuna resident in his 40s is convicted of about 80 sexual crimes against children, several local media report.
The district court sentences the man to prison for five and a half years for, among other things, several cases of rape against children, sexual abuse against children and serious child pornography offences.
The man has pretended to be a teenage girl himself on social media and made the children pose sexually and send him pictures and videos.
The 20 or so victims, who are spread all over Sweden, have all been under 15 when the crimes were committed, several of them as young as eleven. The crimes were committed between 2019 and 2021.
The man has confessed to several of the crimes and must pay damages of just over one million kroner.
