Shortly after 3pm on Friday, the police were called to an apartment building in central Malmö. The emergency services and ambulance had previously been called to the scene due to a case of illness.
A 25-year-old man was found at the address and later pronounced dead by doctors.
The police: “Can’t rule out crime”
Due to unclear circumstances surrounding the death, the police have opened a preliminary investigation into murder.
– Our assessment is that we cannot rule out crime, says police spokesperson Rickard Lundqvist to TV4 Nyheterna.
Two women in their 30s have been arrested.
Relatives are informed of the death.
