When the WC 94 hero was on the SVT program “Master of Champions”, he revealed his most unexpected dream in the fall of age and an unknown talent that he had.
– The Olympics are the biggest, how cool to be a part of. I’m a bit of an expert on that. I was thinking of starting pistol shooting just to be in the Olympics, he revealed in the competition program.
Andersson reveals
It was during this time as a player in Bologna that Kennet Andersson decided to start a shooting career and took a gun license in Italy.
– That went well, it didn’t take long before I had that license. I worked out and thought it was fun. You are ashamed, you are not wise in the head. But you have ideas that the Olympics would be so damn cool to be a part of. I still feel that to this day, he told me in Master of Masters.

Kennet Andersson’s patented double pistol as a target gesture in WC 94 also reveals his interest in firearms.
– Kennet may have to make a new investment in pistol shooting. It can go. As long as there is lead in the air, there is hope, said Björn Ferry, who was also part of the SVT program in 2016.

The football hero admits that the Olympic hero Ragnar Skanåker was a big inspiration in his dream of reaching the Olympics after his football career ended. The pistol shooter Skanåker won an Olympic medal at the age of 54.
– Now it is on ice. But I have my old idol Skanåker so I still feel young. I haven’t brought this up in Sweden yet, but it’s really fun. Even if you have high goals, you can reach the treetops, admits Kennet Andersson in an old interview with Aftonbladet
