Tinder released a new luxury feature that only a select

Tinder released a new feature described as a “VIP experience” for only about one percent of its users.

The dating app Tinder has released a new luxury feature for its users, Tinder Selectfrom which you can spend as much as 499 dollars, or 476 euros per month.

However, the new feature is not open to everyone, because of the US Bloomberg according to Tinder, it plans to select only around one percent of its most active users as users of the new property.

It’s not Tinder’s first paid feature, but it’s definitely the most expensive. Tinder users can also upgrade their dating app to paid Plus, Gold or Platinium versions, the prices of which vary from a few tens of euros to just over a hundred euros, depending on whether they want the service for a week or a year.

That’s how it is

Tinder itself describes the new feature on its website as, among other things, a “VIP experience”. After purchasing the new feature, the user can, for example, send messages before the actual match. You can do this twice during the week, but the person who received the message can also refuse the message.

News site The Verge notes however, it has already been possible for Tinder Platinium users to send messages before the match at a significantly cheaper price. At its cheapest, you can get Platinium in Finland for around 30 euros per month, if you are ready to commit to being a subscriber for six months.

With the new feature, users will gain more visibility on Tinder, as people they like will see their profile without going Gold or Platinum. In addition, Tinder promises a “special status” for users of the new feature, which marks the Select sign in their profile.

It has already been possible for Tinder users to get a free blue verification mark on their profile, which means that the user has verified their identity to Tinder. It has also been possible for verified Tinder users to swipe and message other verified users completely free of charge.

Only a select few can become users of the new feature, and Tinder has set five requirements that measure “quality and commitment”. You can access the VIP experience if you have declared at least five interests on Tinder, added at least four verified photos and a 15-character description of yourself. Additionally, Tinder requires a relationship goal.

Tinder’s parent company Match Group has dealt with very expensive dating apps in the past, as about a year ago it bought an “elite dating app” called The League, from which the user can spend as much as 1,000 dollars, or 955 euros per week, reports The Verge.

Tinder is one of the most popular dating apps in the world and has users worldwide. There are an estimated 100,000 users in Finland.

The application has also faced a lot of criticism, for example, that no less than half of Tinder users are not looking for a date in real life, according to the US Stanford University recent research. According to the company itself, 40 percent of users are looking for a long-term partner.
