Stating that his son is in the conflict zone and has not heard from him for a long time, Boboşko said, “I am in contact with my relatives there, but I cannot reach my son. Their phones are off. We were able to talk for a short time a few days ago, he said that he did not have internet but his situation was good. He was fighting. He said that he would not leave his country. I want it to end,” she cried.

Olena Boboşko stated that she felt what was going to happen a few days before the start of the war and warned her son to come to Turkey, “Come, I said, ‘War will break out.’ “Then the war started and Russia bombed. The city of Sumi, where my son lives, is very close to the border. It was one of the first cities to be hit. I am very curious. I want to hear his voice. I pray for him and for my people suffering in my country,” he said.

A close friend of Olena Boboşko and mother of 2 children, Olena Yılmazer (38) expressed her feelings in tears. Yilmazer, who shed tears by hugging his 5-year-old daughter Hiranur, said that he wanted to hear his mother’s voice. Yılmazer said that his mother was fighting for his life in a shelter in Poltava, and his two brothers were fighting for Ukraine.
