EA FC 24 is bringing the new Title Update 2 for the PC, but it can be expected a little later for consoles. What’s in the patch notes?
When is Title Update 2 coming? On October 2nd, 2023, EA Sports announced via the Direct Communication channel that the new Title Update 2 is now available for PC. So you can now download it. This is the second update after the official release was just a few days ago.

When is Title Update 2 coming to the console? As usual, Title Update 2 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One will be released a little later than the PC version. It usually takes a few days, at most a week, for the consoles to get the update.
Crossplay for PC temporarily disabled: Since the PC has now received the update first, crossplay with other platforms will no longer be possible in EA FC 24 for a time, explains EA in another post (via X / Twitter). As soon as the other platforms have the update, crossplay will be available again.
But what’s in the new update?

What do the patch notes show? As with the first update, the patch notes for Title Update 2 only address one point: stability problems that should be corrected.
Exactly what it says: Several stability issues have been addressed, including those that some players experienced in the Ultimate Team menus. (via trello.com)
The menu item in particular was mentioned by many players in the first few days of EA FC 24, as there were slow reactions and sometimes crashes.
It remains to be seen what other problems have been addressed. Recently, a bug in career mode disrupted the gaming experience – players would certainly be happy to see it fixed.
But here you will probably have to wait for future updates. When it comes to gameplay, nothing changes for the time being, as gameplay changes in FIFA’s past have always been described in great detail in the patch notes.
What else is coming up in EA FC 24? This week we can expect the third Team of the Week and the continuation of the RTTK event. Last week, the Road to the Knockouts event kicked off in EA FC 24 and brought some strong cards.
