Chilufya saved Häcken – beat AIK

It was Häcken who took care of the initiative in front of the home crowd. It was most dangerous when Edward Chilufya placed the ball just outside Kristoffer Nordfeldt’s post.

AIK also stood up and came close to taking the lead shortly before the break when Ioannis Pittas, two-goal scorer in the derby against Djurgården last time, managed to score a finish from his own half behind Häcken goalkeeper Peter Abrahamsson, who was way out.

When the clock ticked up to minute 63, it was instead Chilufya who came back. The nimble Zambian with a background in Djurgården managed to get ahead of a threatening Nordfeldt on a deep ball from Mikkel Rygaard and was able to easily put the ball in – his first Allsvenskan goal in the Häckenträyan.

And the 24-year-old wasn’t done there. With a quarter of the regular match time left, Amor Layouni found himself with a pass to Chilufya – on loan from FC Midtjylland – who calmly placed the ball next to the AIK goalkeeper’s right corner.

Häcken was then able to play off the match comfortably. The team stands on 50 points after 25 games, one and two points behind Elfsborg and Malmö with one less game played. AIK is in twelfth place with 28 points.
