A 45-year-old man has died as a result of a motorcycle accident on Ölandsbron, the police write on their website.
A truck and a motorcycle, which the deceased man was driving, collided on the bridge at the height of Norra Skallö.
Police, emergency services and an ambulance were called to the scene. Traffic was at a complete standstill for some time.
The case is classified as negligence in traffic.
No one is a suspect.
