SVT’s review of Nofatel at the beginning of the summer had immediate consequences for the company and its founder Magnus Pettersson.
In the review, former employees said that Nofatel had systems in place to deliberately deceive customers, something that was denied. It also showed that Nofatel forced disgruntled customers to praise the company on various review sites in order to give them the opportunity to get out of their contracts with Nofatel.
“This, together with the measures we previously put in place, means that we are immediately terminating our agreement with Nofatel”, announced Viktor Karlsson, CEO of Telavox.
Since the agreement was terminated without notice and prematurely, Nofatel now demands to be paid. In total, Telavox is being sued for SEK 16.5 million in damages and for lost future income.
– I have no comments on that, says Magnus Pettersson, CEO of Nofatel.
You don’t want to talk about why you sued them or how you calculated the sums?
– No I do not want to.
Telavox also does not want to comment on the ongoing dispute.
