Elon Musk wants to do a speedrun in Diablo 4 – and live too

Elon Musk, the richest man in the world and CEO of X (Twitter), apparently likes to gamble. He has now announced on X that he wants to test live streaming on X with a speedrun in Diablo 4.

  • Elon Musk took over Twitter in October 2022 and renamed it X at the end of July 2023.
  • Apart from that, the 52-year-old also likes to gamble. He was particularly fond of Elden Ring. He says: “Elden Ring is one of the most beautiful works of art ever created.”
  • Elon Musk would have been asked to stream video games. Now he wants to speedrun a nightmare dungeon in Diablo 4 live.
  • On September 28th, Elon Musk wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that he wanted to test live streaming on his own platform that same day. A few hours later, however, he rows back again. It is still unclear when he will implement his plan.

Depending on how long Elon Musk takes his time with it, he can also start the second season of Diablo 4 straight away:

    “Please don’t have high expectations”

This was his plan: In his post, Elon Musk writes that he wants to do some “silly things” in the live stream on X today. Because he’s been asked to stream video games, he wants to “try to fast forward a level 99 nightmare dungeon in Diablo (without spiteful hearts).”

He adds a comment and writes: “By ‘speedrun’ I mean finishing pretty quickly for an amateur. Please don’t have high expectations.”

3 hours later he rows back. Musk first wrote under his post: “Sorry, I’m still at work. Probably live around 1 a.m. CT.” (9 a.m. for us). An hour later he added that he had to postpone the stream until tomorrow.

This is how users react to X: One user writes that the whole of X will be watching, that he expects the best and that Elon Musk shouldn’t disappoint people. Another says running a nightmare dungeon speedrun without evil hearts is “masochistic.”

Season 1 of Diablo 4 is all about evil monsters and their evil hearts. There are 32 different ones in total.

A user offers to “carry” him through the dungeon and help him. User “XX” commented on Musk’s post that it has the potential to be the most viewed gaming live stream. “MaximoBanksy” says: “He tends to destroy the Internet.”

A month ago, on August 26, Elon Musik was spotted in the audience at the Valorant Champions 2023 event. However, the fans were not at all enthusiastic:

Gamers boo Elon Musk at the event, fearing he could buy Valorant and treat it as badly as Twitter
